John earned a Master's degree in piano performance (classical) from the prestigious Peabody Conservatory. He has performed most styles of music professionally for almost two decades in Japan and the United States. He also taught students of all levels. John is a seasoned composer, arranger, teacher and performer.

From his six progressive and fun introductory six lessons, you will learn to:

* identify the notes on the keyboard
* recognize the notes on the grand staff (bass and treble clefs)
* incorporate other symbols used in music notation in your playing to create dynamics and rhythm
* count, using time signatures and rests
* sing and play with both hands while using correct posture at the piano

* fundamentals of rhythm, technique, and note reading
* printable exercises and illustrations to accompany the video

John's one hour introductory course consists of six 10 minute lessons and a 18 page downloadable methods book. The course is $14.95 (US dollars) and there are no additional costs.
