I have taught privately for over 6 years, and in the school system for 3 years (group sessions)
I enjoy working with beginners and teaching them to read music. I teach piano (ages 5 & up) and band instruments (ages 10 & up), and I have experience working with special needs children. I have also taught adult students.
It is a joy for me to share my passion for music with young people and teach them to love music in many forms and styles. When music-making is fun, children are naturally motivated to learn more and do the work that is necessary for growth.
