MISSED LESSONS

Regular attendance is important to ensure the student's progress. Please also remember that our teachers are professionals attempting to have a steady and predictable income in a limited time frame (about 4 hours a night). Repeated absences can significantly impact the teacher's income opportunities. We encourage students who miss lessons to make up as many as possible.

Unlike most studios, schoolofmusic.com does not dictate the limit on credits for missed lessons. If, however, a teacher determines that there have been an excessive number of cancellations, the teacher may choose to discontinue the lessons.

e-bill vs. mail

We offer a choice of e-mail billing or billing by mail. This choice only involves the method of delivery for the invoice. To change the way that you receive your invoices or to request return envelopes send an e-mail to or call:

*The monthly tuition is determined by multiplying the lesson tuition by 52 weeks and dividing by 12 months. You will be billed the same rate each month whether there are 4 lessons or 5 in the month. Please deduct the amount shown under "each lesson" (for example $43.50) for each lesson missed before paying your invoice. Credits are only available if a 24 hour notice of the absence has been received.
