Live Online Music Instruction
In addition to providing lessons in your home, in schools, in studios, and in community facilities, schoolofmusic.com is pleased to offer live, interactive, online lessons. schoolofmusic.com is able to provide a teacher for virtually any instrument and level.
Our online instruction is provided by professional instructors who are matched to your specific goals and requirements. Our teachers are carefully selected so that you can be assured of a productive learning environment. Online instruction works best when the student has had basic instruction and can comfortably incorporate the advice of their teacher via distant learning. We do not recommend online instruction for young, beginning level students, unless a parent will be present throughout the lessons to assist.
Some of our instructors have completed doctoral programs, and are available to assist college level music students. Whether you require continuing lessons or assistance with a specific issue, we are here to help.
Some lessons for advanced students require only a telephone line with a speaker phone. In other cases, high speed internet service, a camera, a microphone, and speakers will be required. We recommend Skype however, most live chat services will suffice.
Lesson costs may vary and may be determined by the instructor, however, twenty-five minute lessons typically run about US$25. To protect your information, we use PayPal to process your payments. It is not necessary to have a Paypal account.
Advertisers on our site will be paid directly. We do not recommend providing your credit card information directly to any teacher. We suggest that our instructors use a third party organization, like Paypal, to process cards. We assume no responsibility for the actions of advertisers, although we will remove them promptly if appropriate.
