Teaching Philosophy:
I believe all music students learn valuable life skills with their lessons. Along with notes, rhythm, and style, I teach breakdown of tasks and goal-setting skills, leading to self-discipline, higher self-esteem, and a greater appreciation of music in our world and within each musician.

BA, Luther College, Decorah, Iowa, 2002
Elementary Education with Special Education Endorsement, Music Minor
5 years Special Education experience in schools, over 10 years experience teaching private music lessons.
