Teaching Philosophy:
I believe that learning should be fun and that musicianship is more than just learning to play an instrument. It is learning to listen, to create, and to really make music a form of expressions. In addition I strongly integrate music theory and ear-training into my teaching. Yes, lesson are about learning music, but they also about building relationships that help to shape and impact the student. I also believe that students learn best through imitation so I am always playing for my students so they can copy and imitate me. I expect my student to strive not for perfection, but for excellence.
