Teaching Philosophy:
Students come from all backgrounds, levels of experience, maturity, and aptitude. I feel that being able to assess this wisely and nurture development through choice of repertoire at the appropriate level of difficulty, topics, additional resources and exercises is very important. A gentle manner, sense of humor, and good pedagogy are also necessary to insure the student is engaged, progressing, and enjoying the learning experience.
